El Gao Art is an independent cultural non profit association based in Regla, Havana. It develops cultural and educational programs rooted in the neighborhood, creating access to art, music and creative practice for children and young people in Regla. Its activities include free workshops in music, visual arts, ceramics, languages and other creative disciplines, alongside artist residencies, recording sessions, live performances and collaborative projects.
The association also provides a space for emerging Cuban artists and musicians to create, rehearse, record, develop new work and connect with a wider artistic community in Cuba and internationally.
